In the history of Test cricket Ryan Rickelton has never scored a century but he turned that around in the second test against Sri Lanka as he led his team to a triumphant victory on the first day against Sri Lanka. After reaching this milestone, he scored his first test century with an artistic stroke to the cover region, earning accolades from fans and teammates alike.
Hindrances Encountered by South African Top Order:
Even though Rickelton was in great form, top-order batters from South Africa never ceased to struggle, a cause for concern that has been evident in their recent tests.
